Fram Strait Observatory (Annual oceanographic sampling)
Fieldwork / Study
Geolocation is 78.988186683488, -4.74609375
The program is run by the Norwegian Polar Institute. Involves annual sampling every summer across the Fram Strait. Focus on sea ice and oceanogrpahy (physcial and chemcial). Denmark (DTU Aqua) has participated in the project since 2009.
Can include sampling in local NE Greenland fjord systems (Skærfjorden, Dijmpha Sound, Nioghalvfjerdsfjorden).
